There are a minimum of two tryouts per age group. We encourage all players to attend each tryout, as this gives them the best opportunity to shine. At the end of the tryouts, the coaches adjourn and select their respective teams and notify the players.
Select Teams
Within each age group, starting at U-11 for the boys and U-12 for the girls, the Hawks have Select Teams. These teams are comprised of players that have been selected by the select coaching staff of that age, with the goal being to qualify and compete at the national level tournaments. In 2004, the Hawks had a total of ten teams (girls/boys combined) qualify and compete in the nationals in places like New Orleans, Orlando, Memphis and Lexington, with tremendous success.
